Many wonder if the bevy of new eReaders will make printed literature obsolete. It is easier than ever for people to carry multiple books along wherever they go. This new development and technology has some upsides and downsides. In the past few years the sales of print books have gone down. This is the same for magazines and newspapers too. The readers have been blamed for this new development. It’s also possible that sales are going down because more people are getting their information from the Internet.Never heard of this before? Get up to speed here.

Certainly, it will be harder to sell print novels in as great a number as previously, but people are still buying books, newspapers and magazines in tremendous numbers. They are doing it through the Internet and downloading those novels to their Ereaders. Once they read a book and really like it, they will likely go out and buy a printed copy. Why? People who enjoy the printed word will want to have a physical copy of their favorite books at home.

No matter how good and eReader gets it is simply no replacement for the printed page. There is something about holding a physical copy of the book that is satisfying and pleasing to the eye. No, the printed word will never be obsolete.

Classic romance novels are read again and again for their timeless stories and passionate characters. Leo Tolstoy’s ‘War and Peace’ has captured the hearts of readers since its publication in 1869. The tale’s approach to God, romantic love and the purpose of life has an appeal that still charms modern readers. Jane Austen’s classic ‘Pride and Prejudice’ continues to stir hearts with its account of the Bennet sisters and their romantic adventures. Many of Austen’s other works, including ‘Emma’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility,’ are just as enthralling today as they were at the turn of the century.

No list of classic romance novels would be complete without mention of Charlotte Bronte’s 1847 masterpiece, ‘Jane Eyre.’ Generations of readers have fallen in love with the title character, known for her strength and passion. The story of growth, love, longing and reunions is one of classic literature’s best. F. Scott Fitzgerald’s ‘The Great Gatsby’ contains something for everyone, including love, jealousy and unbeatable 1920s style. D.H. Lawrence’s ‘The Fox’ is another one of the great classic romance novels. The novella tells the story of two sisters who overcome many hardships and find their world turned upside down when a soldier appears on the scene. Like all of the aforementioned novels, Lawrence’s work will satisfy modern readers looking for classic romance.

The love for reading can be cultivated as easily as reading to your child. Reading with your child at an early age has such great benefits. Not only will it help them to read, but it creates a strong bond between you and your child. Research also shows that reading will greatly increase their success in school.

Of course, reading to your child is not the only way to cultivate the love of reading. There are many fun things that you can do with your child to encourage them to read. Try starting a Family Book Club. Pick out a book that you could read together, then have discussions about it. This is a great way to have quality family time. You could take a trip to the library or bookstore. There are always fun activities going on, such as story time or book signings. This is great for older and younger kids. Another fun thing to do is to write your own book. You can really get creative with this one, using paints, colors and photographs. This is a great way to promote creativity and critical thinking.

No matter what you choose to do, the important thing is to have fun. The love of reading starts with you. If you love reading and are having fun, your child will love it too.

Going on vacation is always a fun and exciting experience for anyone to enjoy. Vacations are made to be a getaway from a person’s daily routine, allowing them to relax and enjoy their free time to the fullest extent. One great thing about going on vacation is that it gives people a chance to read books. That may sound strange, but many people really enjoy reading a new book while on vacation. Reading is perfect for someone looking to relax, and it can easily be paired with any activity.

So what are some of the best books to read while on vacation? Good books for vacations are ones that are quick and fairly easy to read. Getting through a novel should not be an obstacle, especially when a person is on vacation. Simple romances and comedies are great books to read on vacation; they capture one’s attention but they do not become monotonous or too time consuming. Adventure books are also great reads, but they can often be quite a bit longer than short romantic novels or comedies. No matter what a person’s taste in books may be, there is sure to be an entertaining book that is perfect for them to take on vacation.
